Hi Brenda,
Great comment-your language is crystal clear, it identifies who you work with and how you can be of service to these potential clients. Many therapists struggle with being able to concisely say who they help and how their services can help them. I'm sure your clarity has helped people identify who is a good fit to work with you- and lead to many referrals.
Keep shining your brilliant light!

Laura,
There is definitely a mind set that goes with encouraging people at networking events to refer potential clients. More than a tag line for my niche, I like the idea of simply asking in clear language to have someone refer. "I work adult survivors of violence who are ready to create a life beyond loss. And if you know someone please send them my way....."

I love and will use it. Brenda

Laura thanks for reminding us all of this critical strategy to help your clients and your business on a whole new level. If this resonates with you then consider working with Laura to take your practice to the next level. With her support I've been able to launch a whole new arm of my business to work with women in business and their creativity teaching them how to create their own success and I've certainly got a business I love! You can have this too!!

I have not gotten new clients b/c of social media- but I have had other exciting things happen. Most importantly, I have made connections with colleagues (which HAS gotten me new clients, in a round about way). Social Media has allowed me to connect with others in a national level- but even on a local level, I've made new connections b/c of social media. I went into the twitter/blogging/FB thing with no goals- just checking it out. It's really been amazing. And fun :)
